One Coached Physician Reaches Thousands of Patients.
One Foundation Carries That Mission Home.
Charles Consulting and the Blizzard Family Foundation are the same mission — one inside the hospital, one beyond it.
The Mission Behind the Mission
She knew what was missing in that room.
So did we.
Mackenzie Blizzard knows what it means to lie in a hospital bed and need more than clinical competence from the physician standing in front of her. She knows the difference between a doctor who sees a chart and one who sees a person. That difference — the quality of human presence in a medical encounter — is what her foundation, Kenzie's Krew, was built around.
It is also exactly what the Provider Ambassador Coaching Program has been measuring, improving, and sustaining for eighteen consecutive years.
Charles Consulting and the Blizzard Family Foundation have formalized what was always a shared mission. Every health system engagement funds outdoor experiences for underprivileged and disabled children, feeding programs for kids in high-poverty communities, and the belief that every child deserves hope and every patient deserves to feel seen.
The program has always been about more than HCAHPS scores. It has been about the moment a physician walks into a room and a patient — frightened, vulnerable, uncertain — feels less alone because of how that physician showed up. Kenzie's Krew was built on that same moment. So was this program.
That is not a coincidence. It is a partnership.
